1. We Respect Your Privacy

Cyber Divination is designed to be a private, personal space. We do not collect, store, or associate your questions with any identifying information.

2. What Data Do We Collect?

When you submit a query, it is sent to our server to generate your archetype reading. The input is processed briefly in memory and not stored. We do not maintain logs of your personal questions or responses.

What is stored is the archetypes that answer your query, as well as the archetype that you selected (if you did select an archetype for your reading). This is done for research purposes.

Your IP address as well as the time of your reading is also stored. This is done for the purposes of rate limiting; only three readings per IP address are allowed per day. Again, no actual reading data is stored alongside this.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a small number of cookies to improve your experience on Cyber Divination:

• Personality Type Preference: If you select a personality type when receiving a reading, we store it in a cookie so that your preference is remembered on future visits. This information is stored locally in your browser and is not shared with any third parties.
• Third-Party Services: Services such as Google AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing behavior. These cookies are governed by their own privacy policies.

We do not use cookies to track your activity across sites, nor do we sell or share your cookie data.

4. Third-Party Services

Cyber Divination may use external services (such as Google AdSense or embedded playlists) that collect anonymous usage data. These services do not receive your query content or personal information from us.

5. No Account Required

You can use Cyber Divination without creating an account, logging in, or providing any identifying details. The ability to create profiles for storing queries and other user data might be added later, and this policy will then be updated accordingly.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to keep our platform secure and prevent unauthorized access to any systems that process queries. All data is passed via HTTPS.

7. GDPR and Consent in the EU/UK

We use Google AdSense to serve ads, and as required by law in the European Union, the UK, and Switzerland, we display a cookie consent message when you first visit the site.

This message is powered by Google’s certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), and allows you to manage your privacy preferences. You can review or change your ad settings at any time by clicking “Manage Options” in the consent message.
